Why I Love Being a Nanny
From a young age, I’ve always loved being around children. Growing up in a big family with seven nephews and nieces gave me plenty of chances to care for little ones. Watching them grow and learn has always brought me immense joy and inspired me to become a freelance nanny.
My journey began when my sisters had their babies. I jumped at the chance to help them, especially in those early days after labor. I learned to bathe newborns, change diapers, and soothe them when they cried. Each moment was special as I bonded with each child and watched their personalities develop.
As my nieces and nephews grew, I stayed involved in their lives. I read them stories, played educational games, and sang songs with them. We shared many laughs and created lasting memories. I loved making healthy meals for them, knowing I was helping them grow strong.
Now, as a nanny, I can share that love and care with even more children. I create fun and educational activities tailored to each child’s interests. I find joy in seeing them discover new things and learn about the world.
I’m currently obtaining my Working with Children Check (WWCC) and have an Australian Business Number (ABN) to work professionally. With my full driving license, I can take children to activities and outings, making our time together even more enjoyable.
Being a nanny allows me to combine my love for children with my desire to make a positive impact in their lives. My fee is $30 per hour for my services, with a minimum of 3 hours a day. Each day is a new adventure, filled with laughter and learning. I’m grateful for the chance to help children grow and become wonderful individuals. For me, being a nanny is more than just a job; it’s a passion that fills my heart with joy.
